We had a fantastic Christmas stay at this charming hotel. the room was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. the comfortable bed and lovely smelling linens ensured a good night's sleep. the location was perfect, being close to local attractions and offering easy access to nearby villages. the highlight of our stay was the delicious food served in the courtyard restaurant. the fish and chips were exceptional, with a light and crispy batter. the friendly staff and beautiful setting made our Christmas experience memorable.

Although our overall stay was enjoyable, there were a couple of minor downsides. the presentation of the wine could have been improved.
